Developed back in 1892 in the United States and initially made with metal and a cork liner, the crown cap has evolved over time with the introduction of synthetic materials and advanced manufacturing techniques. Today, Pelliconi's 26 mm crown cork is available in its traditional pry-off version and in the more modern twist model, ideal for easy manual opening. Its neutral organoleptic essence and maximum seal make this closure suitable for all types of beverages, natural and carbonated (water, beer, wine, soft and energy drinks, dairy products).

Crown Cork
The 26 mm steel Pelliconi caps guarantee the best seal. These closures are organoleptically neutral and therefore suitable for all types of beverages, natural and carbonated (water, beer, wine, soft and energy drinks, dairy product).
Suitable for all kinds of needs, they can be made in a wide range of materials and are compatible with sterilization processes. They can be decorated both internally and externally with color offset printing and used for contests and promotions.
Also available in the "Soft Touch" twist version, which is characterized by more corrugations on the shell, making the cap more comfortable to contact with the consumer's fingers during the opening process.
Smart Crown
Smart Crown is the crown cork that is manufactured from steel only 0.18 mm thick while maintaining all the features and performance of standard corks on the market, with which it is 100% compatible.
By significantly decreasing the amount of steel used, Pelliconi has managed to considerably reduce the environmental impact of the production process compared to standard caps: -15% CO2 emissions, lower energy consumption during production and greater optimization of packaging and logistics.
The reduced environmental impact and absolute interchangeability with standard crown corks make the Smart Crown a true "green" closure.
