29 mm CROWN CORK
The 29 mm disposable crown cork, made of steel and aluminum, ensure a pressure seal and optimal airtightness. Designed for a wide range of wines, both still and sparkling, they feature special liners designed to be compatible with Champenoise and Classic Method winemaking and fermentation processes.
The 29 mm steel and aluminum crown corks meet strict quality standards. They are produced in accordance with the most authoritative international regulations certifying materials that come into contact with food. They are also compatible with the most widely used pasteurization and hot-filling processes.
The available liners have differences in permeability that allow better control of the aging process depending on the type of wine, the volume of the bottle and the final taste the producer wants to achieve. Various combinations are possible between the material used for the shell and that for the interior: each configuration thus leads to stoppers with unique characteristics, each with a specific designation.

Crown cork profile P103
PVC-Free Physical Barrier liner (oxygen and volatile substances) with improved contour and fully compatible with Obturateur DAP.
The PVC-Free liner is used in coupling with the "Obturateur Dap" (also known as Bidule) for "Classic Method" or traditional (Méthode Traditionnelle), or with shaped liner intended for all types of sparkling wine. Used for the second fermentation in the bottle, it will later be replaced by the mushroom cork to be placed on the market.
The "Obturateur DAP" is a PE insert suitable for 29 mm mouthpieces of Champenoise and Classico method bottles with internal volume of ½ , 1 and 2 liters, complying with AFNOR NF H 35-022 NF and H35-029 standards.
Crown cork Opercule
Polyethylene liner with excellent organoleptic properties. It eliminates the need for Obturateur DAP during the aging of sparkling wines according to the "Méthode Traditionelle," presenting a small container for wine lees that is one body with the liner.
The 29 mm "Opercule" cap serves the same function as the 29 mm profile P103 crown, which is used in conjunction with the Obturateur DAP (or bidule), and is its manufactured alternative in a single solution.
Perfect for making Champagne and sparkling wines according to the Champenoise and Classic Method. In addition, the polyethylene (PL) liner has excellent organoleptic properties.
