It is somewhat strange that the tale of our history begins with the very word that above all speaks of our present, our future: “responsibility”. We are responsible for what we produce, how we produce it, the impact we have on the environment and on people: responsibility relates to the life of the planet, intended in its broadest meaning - natural, social, cultural; a life that is closely associated with human innovation. For a company like ours, this connection is the direction to follow.

Our numbers are the most tangible demonstration of what we have achieved. Pragmatism has Always driven our dreams: We wanted to create great solutions that would simplify people's lives so much that we could define them as being “important”. We have not yet reached the very ambitious goal we have set ourselves, but from 1939 to the present day, since Angelo Pelliconi, a small manufacturer of metal parts, saw a crown cap on a bottle and wanted to replicate it, we have achieved a lot. Our roots are in that small factory, Ditta Angelo Pelliconi (DAP): “dap” is still written in tiny print, in the profiles of our caps; it reminds us where we started from and tells us that we can still do much more.
